There are always lots of business networking and education opportunities in this area, but a wave of them are coming up starting with the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce's Business After Hours tonight.

Here's the break down:

Business After Hours, a networking event for local businesses, is scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. tonight at New Era Development in the Valley High Business Center Phase II

3425 40th Ave N.W., Suite 104 in Rochester. The Rochester Area Chamber of Commercesponsors this monthly networking event.

• On Friday, there is the Women's Entrepreneur Roundtable from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the Rochester Chamber's boardroom at  220 S. Broadway .

On Monday night , Preston Hollister will host the weeklyWorkLife Job Loss and Career Change Support Group from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Oasis Church, 1815 38th St. N.W. St. This Monday's speaker is Ken Quattrin. The former KTTC weatherman will talk about going from that career to media sales and how his faith has impacted his journey

• The Rochester Area Builders annual meeting and member networking night isslated for Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 6:30 p.m. It will be held at the office of the

Schwickert's, 204 Schumann Drive N.W. in Stewartville.

  • The Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce's annual member gatheringis com  ing up  on Thursday, Oct. 28. It will run from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Rochester International Event Center. Cost:$75/person; Table sponsors: $700

 

• On Monday, Nov. 1, The Diversity Leadership Summit: Perceptions of Inclusiveness in Rochesterwill start at 6 p.m. with networking beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the chapel at Bethel Lutheran Church, 810 Third Ave. S.E. in Rochester. The panel will be led by Dr. Sharonne Hayes, Director of the Office of Diversity and Inclusion at Mayo Clinic. This event is sponsored by the Augsburg College MBA Programand Post-Bulletin.It is part of the "Connecting with the Community" learning series. This summit is free and open to the public.
