Bus firm wheels into Rochester

Here the info on who is operating in the old Rochester Coca-Cola plant:

A Rochester bus company has a new owner, new name and new home.

Hastings-based Minnesota Coaches bought RBS Coaches from longtime owner Don Hoffman on March 31.

Minnesota Coaches owner Pat Regan changed the name to Rochester Bus Service Inc.– Minnesota Coaches Inc. and moved the business to 11,500-square-foot building at 1803 14th St. N.W., the former Midwest Coca-Cola Bottling Co. plant.

"We’re just very excited to be a part of Rochester," said Regan, who operates coaches and school bus services in six Minnesota cities, said.

Regan retained RSB’s employees and he has about 10 on staff now. It has nine motorcoaches.

Rochester is not an unfamiliar market for Regan, his family owns the five Premier Bank Rochester branches. Also his cousin Jim Orke, the vice president/general manager of Clements Chevrolet Cadillac Subaru of Rochester, previously worked at RSB.

Right now the Rochester facility handles charter and coaches service, though "We intend to expand in near future," Regan said.
