My letter is a comment on abortion, birth control and gay marriage.
I fought for the right of free speech and the belief of separation of church and state. My opinion is, if the churches are paying for advertising and becoming newsworthy by using the press to put forward their opinion in the political arena, I think it's the sworn duty of our elected officials in Congress to make sure those churches qualify to begin paying taxes like the rest of us.
