Coldwater "officially" to open in Rochester
Finally. Here's the offical word on Coldwater Creek:
COLDWATER FLOWS TO APACHE: National women’s clothing chain – Coldwater Creek – is set to open a 4,000-square-foot store on June 9 in the Apache Mall in Rochester.
The company says it will employ approximately 25 people in Rochester. It will be next to Ann Taylor Loft in the Herbergers wing of the mall.
The Sandpoint, Idaho-based retailer, which sell women’s clothing, jewelry and accesories, started out as a catalog company and its sells its products in its Web site. By tracking its catalog and online customers – more than 25,000 within a 50-mile radius of Apache Mall – it gauged Rochester as a good place open a store.
"We are continuing to open stores in key markets across the country and establish Coldwater Creek as one of the premier national women’s apparel brands," wrote Georgia Shonk-Simmons, president and chief merchandising officer, in a press release. "Adding the Apache Mall location to our rapidly growing store base represents another milestone in reaching that goal." The company has two stores in Minnesota.
