I want to compliment managing editor Jay Furst on the in-depth stories he wrote a week ago for the Saturday issue of the paper on the Wabasha County Board.
I had followed some of the troubles that were going on, but Jay's detailed, in-depth report gave me a great deal more insight.
As an owner of a weekly newspaper, the Dodge County Independent in Kasson, I have a special appreciation for the amount of time it must have taken to put that all together. By the time I had finished reading all four pages and the front page article, it was like, wow!
I feel he gave a very objective report on the goings on. It was one of the best and most informative newspaper pieces I had ever read.
