Oughta be a lively P-B Dialogues session tonight on the city's new domestic partners registry. Joining me at the head table will be hizzoner, Mayor Ardell Brede, along with council member Bruce Snyder, who cast the lone vote against the registry last month; the Rev. Doug Sparks from St. Luke's Episcopal Church; Eli Umpierre of Rochester, and possibly others.
There'll be coffee and cookies, good conversation, and it'll be a lot cooler in the library auditorium than out on First Avenue for the street party, at least according to the thermometer.
I'll post some notes on the event here tomorrow.
Regarding our next Dialogues event, I'm inclined to move it to Zumbrota or Goodhue and have another go at the wind power project in that area. Interested?
