The DMC ambassadors will be displaying the recently unveiled concepts for Rochester from 11:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. The EDA and DMCC want the community and visitors to see the latest graphics from the DMC planners and provide feedback regarding what excites or concerns them.
DMC ambassadors want the community to respond to the current designs and to give honest feedback and submit ideas or suggestions. The comment cards will be given to the DMC team and planners for further consideration.
The visuals include detailed renderings of the six proposed corridors:
• St. Mary’s Place: "The Great Room"
• Central Station: "Transit Terrace"
• Peace Plaza: "The Mayo Clinic"

• Discovery Square: "The Institutes"
• UMR & Recreation
• Downtown Waterfront: "The Gardens"
Says DMC ambassador Amanda Golden, "It’s exciting to see, from last year to this year, how DMC has gone from handwritten ideas on a white poster board to tangible concepts. If this has happened in the last 12 months, what will the next 12 months look like?"
Representatives from the DMC team will be available for interviews. To coordinate interviews at the tent please contact Al Mannino cell- 507-259-2330
The Tent will be located on First Avenue next to the RDA booth and across from Newt’s.
