Tables, chairs, pictures and more are being hauled out of the currently closed Red Lobster in the Rosa Parks Pavilion at South Broadway and Second Street.

It looks like much of the stuff is going to Habitat for Humanity's ReStore.

This is the first time in 25 years that Rochester has been Lobster-less.

The Red is expected to resurface in its new home on Monday afternoon at 1280 U.S. 14 S.W., on the west side of Apache Mall.

That's where construction crews have been working all summer/fall to transform the former Romano’s Macaroni Grill from an Italian villa to a Red Lobster's new seaside design inspired by the architecture in Bar Harbor, Maine. The Mac Grill closed in 2008.

When it re-opens, it will slowly get the ship up to speed by being open only for dinner during the first few days. It will start serving both lunch and dinner on Nov. 12.

Thanks to my ever-observant colleague, Jeff Hansel, for pointing this out.
