Why should the electoral college system continue to be used? It's an archaic system that in the democracy vs. theocracy contest can only serve the elitist political conservatives who evidently have little or no trust in the ideal of "one person, one vote."
Why should we have "faith" in a system if it can't guarantee that our vote will count?
It's important to pat attention to the "conservatives," but do we really want to be overwhelmed by their emotion trip back to the good old days when profits were more important than people?
Rather than succumb to the superstitious world of make-believe, why not accept the true, authentic, real-world backed by science and technology? Why make more or less of something than it actually is?
With realistic insight, foresight, hindsight and oversight, as one human race, we can join together and move progressively toward a better future.
