For Senjem, serving in Senate is an honor and a privilege
At this point in the election season, I know most of you have made up your mind and are tired of canned speeches and the same old story.
I want to take this opportunity to speak to you from my heart.
Being your state senator is the greatest thing I’ve been called to do. I am grateful to have the privilege to go to St. Paul and represent you.
Since first being elected, I have forged positive changes in St. Paul that have resulted in our state budget moving from deficit to surplus. I am so optimistic about the direction our state is going and I am eager to return, as there is more work to be done.
Statewide, we need to create jobs, grow business and keep spending in check. Within our community, we need to advance the Rochester area as a medical destination, complete U.S. 14, and restore Lake Zumbro.
As a state senator you spend much time away from home. As I travel back to Rochester and pass by the houses of those I represent, I cannot help but think I have done my truly best to improve the lives of those who live there. I respectfully ask for your vote on Nov. 6 and would treasure the opportunity to continue to represent the community that I am so passionate about.
