Foreclosure calendar still filling up

With the story out of the Twin Cities last night of the attorney general suggesting mediation should be required for all foreclosures, I trotted over to the Sheriff's Department to see what the foreclosure calendar in Olmsted County looks like today.

And the answer is … full.

Before the calendar rolls over into 2009, there on 62 foreclosure sales scheduled in Olmsted County.

The big days look to be Dec. 5 and Dec. 19. 

So far, 19 foreclosures are scheduled for Dec. 5 and 12 are slated for Dec. 19.

Those could still be cancelled, but - not surprisingly - it still looks to be a lousy year for foreclosures.
