As a union member, I have to say the attacks from Rep. Steve Drazkowski and Republicans in general are getting pretty old. The term "union boss " is thrown around to compare them to the mob bosses of old.
Time to set the record straight, boys. My union officials are all elected, and these positions have to follow strict federal and state laws. They work for each and every member and the contractors we work for, and they also work with the communities in which we work and live.
They are elected to represent the working man — sound familiar? They work long hours, listen to the concerns of every member (much easier today then ever), look out for our safety and our security and as a proud union tradesman, I am sick and tired of the Republican insults.
I thank all my union representatives for their tireless work and long days away from their families. They're fighting for my family’s future and fighting for me.
