Government is too often in a rush to act on bad ideas

How can you trust a government to "fix" a "broken" system when the "fix" has to be "fixed" before it even gets off the ground? It must be because they're all products of that danged educational system that was "broken" and had to be "fixed" by the Republicans. Remember?

I think Congress needs to spend more time on research and development and then, as in the field of science, thoroughly test its plans before bringing them to market.

But then, they do have an excuse: We elected them.
