This was intended as a letter to the editor. It doesn't really work in print, on the edit page, but it's a comment that deserves to be read, and in the original format -- photographs of notes on a legal pad.

The Kahler would take exception to the description of what's happening to the store, but that's what the judge and jury will address Tuesday afternoon in Olmsted County District Court.
