If U.S. flag is displayed at night, it must be illuminated

I recently moved into an apartment where I have a view of the downtown lights. I soon noticed the U.S. flag on top of the Plummer Building. What a wonderful sight to see.

But then I noticed at night that the flag is not illuminated, which it should be according to flag etiquette. The top of the Plummer Building is lit up, and it does light the flag somewhat, but then the lights go out around midnight and the flag is left in the dark.

I sent a note to the clinic and got a response 2 days later that it would be taken care of. Two days later I sent a reminder and got a note back saying it would be taken care of in a timely manner.

Eleven days later, the flag was still in the dark.

I would think they would at least take it down at dusk until they get it illuminated. I have to say it is very disturbing that the clinic does not show more respect for the flag.
