Perhaps I’m putting too many unrelated stray ends together. I find it ironic, all in the same week, $28 million is proposed for the expansion of the Rochester Civic Center, a place where on Tuesday, the city gathered to discuss "Facts and Fears for Public Safety in Rochester," blaming our problem of gang violence on a lack of positive programming for local youth.
The civic center is also a place where on Saturday, many more will gather, including youth, to watch fantasy violence acted out by World Wrestling Entertainment.
