Keep 18 holes in play at Soldiers Field Golf Course

I support leaving the Soldiers Field Golf Course at 18 holes.

I attended the open house at the Soldiers Field earlier this summer. The sentiment then was to leave the golf course alone. The red herring was the veterans museum. Now, the true opponent has come into view. It is the University of Minnesota and the proposed land swap,

I take issue with the park board saying at least half of the respondents to their online and written survey did not support the design that left the golf course intact. Show me the numbers.

Hadley Creek exists for those that just want a nine-hole golf experience. The city ruined Eastwood for older golfers by swapping land for a development that has yet to bear fruit.

Please consider supporting this position and let the park board and City Council know how you feel before it is too late. I was brave enough to write this letter. Are you brave enough to voice your opinion before it is too late?
