While driving down Elton Hills Drive this evening, I had the unfortunate experience of seeing a cat lying on the street after it had been hit by a car.
Please leash your cats. They are vulnerable whenever they leave your home.
Rarely will dog owners simply let their animals run freely throughout neighborhoods, and I'd contend that cats deserve equal respect and care. They adapt very well to leashes or happily remain indoors. In addition, your neighbors rarely, if ever, welcome your freely roaming feline.
