Letter: Bradley offers experience needed to serve as state representative

I endorse Fran Bradley for state representative in House District 25B.

Fran Bradley is a very qualified candidate. Fran served in the Minnesota Legislature from 1995 to 2006. He has served in various positions in his church and community, as well as in the state legislature.

I contacted him several years ago about an issue, and it was addressed immediately. He listened and acted impressively. He has served as chairman of the House's Health and Services Committee.

His heart is in the right place, and his belief in God and serving others is genuine. He is a truthful honest man. He was Arc Minnesota legislator of the year, as well as being legislator of the year for the Association of Minnesota Counties and Minnesota Medical Association, and receiving awards from mental health associations, nursing homes, pharmacists, Guardian of Small Business, Friend of Agriculture award and Friend of Retail Award.

He served as state president of the Jaycees and on the Oronoco City Council. He was a Winona State University Foundation trustee, and served on the Zumbro Valley Mental Health Board, Hiawatha Home Board and the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs Committee. I volunteered with him and his wife with the John Marshall High School Band.

A vote for Fran Bradley in November is a vote for good representation for 25B.
