The Rochester mayor's Energy Commission recently discussed a challenging idea which, if all of us accept and internalize, might help the city grow closer to our 2030 energy goals.
We may want to look at the idea of a culture of sustainability.
It will require 100 percent effort to fulfill our future energy needs — from water, rubbish disposal, electricity, gas and oil, transportation, buildings and in other areas — to fulfill our community responsibility to become energy sustainable.
