I couldn't agree more with Pat Clark's Oct. 1 letter regarding 125 Live, the new senior center.
In addition, many seniors I talk with have already decided not to join due to the dramatic increase in the fee. It will be unaffordable for many, and seniors are able to get some cheaper services, if not free, elsewhere.
My husband and I had talked about joining once the new center is completed. However, just on principle that is now doubtful. They keep asking for more — money, furnishings, etc. — and, I too, have wondered how people will park. Have you ever seen the parking when there is an event like hockey? Good luck.
And, I am tired of taxes increasing. How much has Social Security increased? Get real, people.
