Letter: Hillside views may not last long as regional development continues

I got a chuckle when I read in the May 11 Post-Bulletin about the Fogelson family of Byron planning to build a housing development that will give residents more room, as well as nice views of the surrounding hillsides.

Nice views of the hillsides? Good luck with that one. That reminds me of one of the reasons I moved to Rochester in the late 1970s.

Now, almost 40 years and 50,000 people later, many of those hillsides are now covered with houses.

The same thing will happen to Byron.
