Gun violence in the United States results in thousands of deaths and thousands more injuries annually. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in 2013, firearms were involved in 33,169 deaths, excluding those due to legal intervention.
So far this year, there have been more mass shootings (351) than days (334). In 334 days, there have been 351 incidents where four or more people, including the gunman, are killed or injured by gunfire.

The House passed the American Security Against Foreign Enemies Act of 2015, which states, "Certification by unanimous concurrence — A covered alien may only be admitted to the United States after the Secretary of Homeland Security, with the unanimous concurrence of the Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Director of National Intelligence, certifies … the covered alien is not a threat to the security of the United States."
Question: Why should ISIL subject refugee families to the two years of vetting as well as having James Comey, Jeh Johnson and John O. Brenman personally vouch for each Syrian or Iraq man, woman and child seeking refuge from barrel bombs and chlorine gas in order to smuggle in a few terrorists when they can just sit back and watch us kill ourselves?
