Sean Allen's experience with affordable housing development and other residential development projects will provide valuable insight and experience in the role of Rochester City Council president. Additionally, as a former member of Imagine Kutzky, Sean played a crucial role in developing land-use plans and zoning documents for Kutzky Park. This includes the Second Street Corridor Study and the Imagine Kutzky Vision Plan, both adopted by the city.
Yet it is his experience working with the community to build consensus that will be most refreshing if elected in November. Having been on both sides of projects, Sean understands the need to collaborate with the community while developing projects. We need city leaders who have the ability to recognize and balance the needs of Rochester's residents with our economic development goals. If elected, Sean will bring this quality to the city council.
Our city is growing and Sean will provide the experience necessary make sure we grow in a way that supports all residents. I am excited for this much-needed change and he has my vote on Nov. 8.
