On a recent visit to downtown, I thought a bad Banksy had marred our city streets. A swath of green marked the streets for what I perceived are thoroughfares for electric scooters. The rationale for them escapes me. Maybe for that handicapped, inebriated guy who used to leave local bars by driving in the streets. Paired with a certain councilperson, and his bike lanes to nowhere, we can again see that Rochester, though sterile, is stagnant.
