As I walked this morning I observed the trees along the sidewalk that border our public streets. It is obvious these trees, planted by the city and volunteers just a few years ago, are suffering from the heat. Their leaves are wilting.

Unless they are watered by the city or Mother Nature they may die. These trees that add beauty to our lives are being ignored, like so many other environmental and humanitarian issues.

Please give water to people who have no water.

Please water the trees.
