My dictionary defines Rochester as "a city in Minnesota, 70 miles southeast of St. Paul; the site of the Mayo Clinic. Population 41,000." In the U.S., Mayo is pronounced like the shortened form of mayonnaise, a food dressing, but in Latin America, Mayo means May, the fifth month of the year, and is pronounced accordingly.
Locally, we recognize it as the surname of Charles Mayo, one of the Mayo Clinic founders. He had a birth date and also an "expiration" date, which is not true of corporations
Corporations exist only on paper, but we give them "human" properties such as "money-speak." These soulless creations are using mind-control technology to control real humans.
Destination Medical Center Corp. was created at the Rochester City Council meeting July 15, 2013. It seems determined to change, as quickly as possible, all that the Mayo Clinic has meant to the world in the past.
A DVD recording of the meeting is available at the Rochester City Hall for $3.
