The word from the Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch and many other business sources is that Linens 'n Things ' ledger sheet has been tossed in the washer with some brightly-colored socks.
So it came out in the red. Heh.
Anyway, the national retailer is supposed to go into bankruptcy cycle Tuesday on the Chapter 11 setting.
It is way too early to know how this might impact the Rochester store, but it probably not good news.

The 27,000-square-foot Rochester store opened in the fall of 2005 at 1212 16th St. S.W. The revamped former Econofoods building sold in December of 2006 for $11.29 million.
For those Bed Bath & Beyond fans out there crowing about their store, it is worth noting that BB&B is forecasting a weak First Quarter.
