Almost a year after the deal
to build in Rochester was signed, home improvement retailer
Lowe’s
plans to open its 117,00-square-foot store on June 12.
The Mooresville, N.C.-based Big Box chain built the store in the
Shoppes on
Maine
development along South U.S. 63. It represents, according to Lowe’s, an $18.5 million investment that is bringing in 175 jobs.
Nick Loy is the store manager and a grand opening will happen on June 14.
And at the risk of sounding vague or breathless, I can say another Big Box name should be signing a deal out there soon. I should be able to report on it in early June.
