I’ve heard recently that candidate Scott McNurlin has bought into wind turbine farming. From the beginning of this campaign I have read/heard/seen repeated mention of his extensive education and experiences presented as, at least in part, evidence of his qualifications for the office of Goodhue County Sheriff.
I’ve attended meetings, listened to testimony and have read much concerning the unsettling evidence that the wind turbines proposed may not be in the best interest of our community from an environmental, aesthetic, health and safety concern. My question of Mr. McNurlin is: With all of your training, knowledge, education and experience, did you not learn to investigate issues a little more thoroughly before accepting this as an advisable investment, and is this then the kind of investigation
we as citizens of Goodhue County can expect if you are elected to the office of
Sheriff?
