Here's a little more on the menu changes at Metro in downtown Rochester
Looking for a burger?
If you’re eating at the Metro Bar and Café, you have a few more choices than you had last month.
The cafe in the Radisson Hotel rolled out a new menu on Feb. 6, says General Manager Joe Powers Jr.
"We wanted to expand some of the sections" he said.

That means the burger selection has expanded to six from the two choices previously offered. The new choices include a Chipotle Burger with chipotle mayonnaise, Blue Moon Burger with blue cheese and portabella mushrooms and a California Burger. The prices range from $6 for a five ounce Metro Mini Burger to $9 for three of the eight ounce burgers.
"We wanted to move up to a higher class to match up to the standard of the hotel," Powers says. "It’s a Five Star hotel , so we wanted a Five Star menu."
So will the Metro, which is on the skyway level, see an increase in business with the closure of the Food Court in the Galleria Mall?
"Definitely. We’ll definitely see more business," he said.
Other new additions include:
• New York Strip and Center Cut Sirloin steaks
• Wisconsin cheese curds
• Walleye fingers
