I'll bet the Star Tribune classified ad manager loved this line in reader rep Kate Parry's Sunday column, which detailed the Strib's woes:
Classified advertising has migrated largely online, and revenues are down.
Revenue is surely down, but last time I looked, the Strib still had a hefty classified section, especially in the metro edition. If Parry and others are giving up on classified in print without a fight, they may as well turn off the lights now.
