I would like you to look into the Pine Island accident . I am from Pine Island and I know that when they put that new Main Street in, people signed petitions and everything else to get them to put in a stop sign just in front of where that woman was hit, and they declined, they said the Department of Transportation said they didn't need one there, but people have been complaining since Day One...this lady might not have been injured so bad if there had been a stop sign there.
We have a followup story on the accident today.
