Stephanie Podulke brings experience, insight and perspective to her work as County Commissioner, District 1.
As a business owner and operator, she understands economic issues and the need to provide top-notch service and to stay in touch with her constituents. Her work as a teacher, day care provider, in-home therapist and coordinator of volunteer services for a convalescent home have given her direct experience of the challenges facing the elderly, families and youth.
Her impressive array of volunteer activities give her both breadth and depth of knowledge about community issues ranging from housing needs, neighborhood safety concerns, diversity, flood control and social services needs. And her daily work as a commissioner has put her directly in touch with the complexity of coordinating and delivering county services ranging from public health to road care in a fiscally responsible manner.
