Protect Rochester's green space

I feel like commercials are slowly taking over television and convenience stores are slowly devouring the town that I have loved since the '70s. Does anyone, beside myself, feel that Rochester already has one too many convenience stores? Do we really need another? And do we need another strip mall?

We are so quickly and thoughtlessly destroying God's Green Earth and replacing it with business parks — some of them immediately going vacant anyway. "They paved paradise and put up a parking lot."

How about a moratorium on all of this over-development before all of the farms, fields and trees of this once-beautiful city are savaged?
