This election year offers us exciting choices.
As a Republican, my choice to oppose Tim Walz is Allen Quist. I have known Allen for over 40 years and I know he is a man of his word. He has been a strong consistent leader, teacher, farmer, husband, father, and friend.
I have told him and my friends that I would trust him with my grandchildren, and that is exactly what I will do when he is elected as our U.S. representative. His goal — to balance the budget and reduce spending — will do more for the future of my grandchildren than anything anyone could do.
Since Allen does his own research and is well-informed about the issues, he will go to Washington ready to step right in, without having to spend precious time playing catch-up. Furthermore, he is prepared to be strong in his convictions.
Please vote for Allen Quist in the Aug. 14 primary, for the security of the future of our children.
