Just to spread the fun around, we're taking our Post-Bulletin Dialogues show on the road next month, to St. Charles, where we'll talk about frac sand and economic development in that area.
We'll meet at Patriot's Pub , the former American Legion club, 1148 Whitewater Ave., from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 6. No obligation to have a beverage to join us, and in fact I won't be enjoying one until after the show. As with Dialogues events in Rochester, the program will be as Q & A as possible -- just introductory comments, then questions from the audience.
Joining us will be Mayor Bill Spitzer and hopefully City Administrator Nick Koverman. I'm making calls to other involved in the sand issue and economic development more generally. Though I'm sure sand will dominate the conversation, I'd like to think we can talk just as much about where the city hopes to go in the near-term, regardless of mining.
If you have questions or issues for the agenda, pass them along and I'll get them on the list.
