Roch. billboard to go digital
Rochester is going high-tech… with its billboards.
The second digital billboard in the state is being installed at 1724 S. Broadway. That means this billboard is basically a screen that can be programmed with a message.
Jay Fauber of Magic Media in Rochester that means a message can be changed within 24 hours.
For quick emergency messages, area officials have access to the billboard to use it for Amber Alerts or message about accidents.
It should be up and running by Friday.
By the way, the other digital billboard in Minnesota is in St. Cloud.
