Romney-Ryan represent only the wealthy

With presidential candidate Mitt Romney choosing Paul Ryan as his running mate, this signals the radical agenda of the Republican team in the election.

Mitt Romney is a multimillionaire, born into wealth with multiple homes and expensive boats, etc. Congressman Ryan is the author of a radical right-wing budget that orients government to help the super-rich and says to everyone else, "You're on your own."

Romney and Ryan support trillions of dollars in tax cuts for millionaires and tax increases for people in the middle class. They would also make cuts to education, the engine by which we improve the well-being of society.

Ryan's budget could cost the economy more than 1 million jobs, according to Harvard economist Jeffrey Liebman. The Romney/Ryan budget would change Medicare into a voucher program, increasing the cost of senior's health care by $6,000 (OK if you are wealthy, not good for every one else). Ryan would privatize Social Security, putting people's retirement at risk for whatever is going on in the stock market.

If the country's experience since the depression of 2008 is considered, this is not a wise strategy for ordinary people. Middle-class people, working people, and poor people, be warned about supporting Romney and Ryan. They do not  have your interests in mind! They believe in the failed "trickle down" theory of economics.
