Here's a note from an Austin reader regarding the Hormel field and the big rock...Saturday's Answer Man question:
I don't know about the Hormel rock, but I hoped one could see it in an aerial photo, like this one from the Minnesota Historical Society. I suppose it's one of the specks in the two fields. The old Hormel plant is at the center, with the adjacent fields. You can see modern-day Interstate 90 across the top. The view is looking north northeast.
