Several years ago, 18 homes in our neighborhood were scheduled to be razed for a frontage road between 55th and 65th Streets Northwest. Our neighborhood group met to discuss our options and the Post-Bulletin printed an article about the meeting.
Sen. Dave Senjem saw the article and took it upon himself to contact us to see what he could do to help. He set up a meeting in St. Paul with people from the Department of Transportation and our group and the issue was resolved, saving our homes and neighborhood.
We need people like Dave Senjem representing us in St. Paul who are proactive, looking for ways to help those he represents. A vote for him on Nov. 6 will keep him working for us.
