Sentences for drunk drivers don't fit the crime

When a drunk driver in a fatal crash gets nearly 6 years in prison, I believe it should be more than that. The victims of this drunk driver did not get to live even an hour or a day after the crash.

Drunk drivers are a burden on society because they cause death and/or hospitalization to vehicle passengers and pedestrians. I agree with Otis Laurberg's Aug. 4 letter which said "when the offender chooses to operate a motor vehicle, it becomes the business of others and she subjects herself to the judgment of others."

I believe drivers who choose to drive drunk should be arrested and kept in jail.
