Sen. David Senjem has suggested that the former Samaritan Bethany Heights site should be converted into a veterans home.
In this effort, he has enlisted the help of 1st District U.S. Rep. Tim Walz, whose spokespersons, Sara Severs, said that the congressman's top priority is to ensure that our veterans receive the care they have earned, and that Walz stands ready to help any elected official or constituent understand the federal Veterans Administration process.
As member of the Korean War Veterans Club, I offer my full support to Sen. Senjem and Rep. Walz in this effort.
