Looks like Family Video is rolling closer to an premier in Rochester as the new building in northwest Rochester nears completion.

Once open, it will be Rochester only standalone video and game rental shop. Hollywood Video recently closed its two stores with one now being occupied by seasonal retailer, Halloween Express.

The new 4,600-square-foot Family Video stands along Elton Hills Northwest where a BP Pump N Munch

  T he Glenview, Ill.-based movie and video game rental chain demolished the gas station and began building the new store in June.

I'd expect it to open in the near future, late September or early October.

I remember when this BP station became a Pump & Munch back in 2007.

The Rochester Pump & Munch stations all closed in July 2009 .
