WINONA — Paul Michael McCauley, 29, formerly of Winona, passed away unexpectedly on Feb.9, 2011, in Ft Lauderdale. Fla. He was the son of Diane McCauley and John Thompson.
He was born Jan. 27, 1982. A visitation was held on Feb. 13, 2011, in Plantation, Fla.
Paul worked for "Pop-A-Lock" and found a lot of satisfaction in helping others. He dearly loved his family and he was all about kids. One of his favorite sayings when told that he was loved is to respond with "I love you more."
Paul is survived by his wife Lynn, children Tyler 10, Scott 7, and Shannon 4; parents Diane McCauley of Sunrise, Fla., and John Thompson (Beth) of Rochester; half siblings John Jr. (Jay) of Nashville, Tenn., Nicholas, Lindsey and Kathryn of Rochester; grandparents M.J.(Mac) and Margaret McCauley of Winona; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
