Pitcher Ryan Middendorf will represent the Rochester Honkers tonight at the Northwoods League All-Star Game in Waterloo, Iowa. He has been the ace of an outstanding pitching staff, but he has reached his innings limit and will not pitch again for Rochester this summer.

Former Minnesota Twins catcher Terry Steinbach signs autographs for Rochester Youth Baseball Association players on Tuesday before the Honkers’ home opener against St. Cloud. Steinbach, a Minnesota native, is a 3-time All-Star who won the World Series with Oakland in 1989.

Rochester Honkers catcher Ryan Wrobleski, who won a state baseball championship with Eden Prairie in 2017, is just 19 years old but has been the Honkers biggest power threat so far this season with three homers, a double, a triple and nine RBIs through 14 games. He played for North Iowa Area Community College this spring, but next year he will play for Division 1 Dallas Baptist.
