LEROY-OSTRANDER

The Pine Island boys track-and-field team will compete in the state True Team meet for the 11th time in the last 12 years on Saturday in Stillwater.
Both the boys and girls Section 1A True Team meets were incredibly close. LFCMC emerged the boys winner and GMLOKS the girls.
The Hamline Elite Meet saw some big performances from Rochester-area athletes on Friday.
Anika Reiland is a Grand Meadow/LeRoy-Ostranders/Kingsland/Southland standout in the 100 and 200-meter dashes. She's also the clear leader of a team chalk-full of excellent sprinters.

Although undersized, LeRoy-Ostrander's 5-foot-6 quarterback delivered a season that few had ever seen before. He also delivered a state championship.
Southeastern Minnesota was heavily represented on the 9-Man All-State football team, with eight players from Section One on it.
QB Chase Johnson set a Prep Bowl record with 412 yards from scrimmage as LeRoy-Ostrander toppled Fertile-Beltrami 58-8 in the Nine-Man state championship game on Saturday.
