The Pine Island boys track-and-field team will compete in the state True Team meet for the 11th time in the last 12 years on Saturday in Stillwater.

Anders Larson helped the Pine Island/Zumbrota-Mazeppa boys golf team to its first-ever section championship and state meet appearance a year ago. He spent all summer traveling the country and playing in golf tournaments, a plan that resulted in him earning a roster spot at Division I Tennessee Tech University.
