Cedric Harrell, a Real Estate Agent, just joined Coldwell Banker Realty.
We asked him about his latest career move.
What appealed to you about going into real estate?
Continuing to help others in the community, building relationships, and taking control of my future.
What steps did you take to attain your current job?
I attended a real estate program that prepares you to become a licensed real estate agent in the state of Minnesota. There are three required courses, many proctored exams, along with state and national exams that have to be passed in order to become a licensed agent.
What's the best career/life advice you received along the way?
Work hard for what you want, never forget where you come from, and always stay true to yourself.
What do you wish more people knew about real estate or home-buying?
Home-buying is not as difficult as one may assume when you find an agent who works hard, listens, follows through, and is committed to client satisfaction.
What advice would you give a young person looking to go into your field?
The sky is the limit. As long as you are dedicated to putting in the work, you'll help others reach their goals, (and) make lifelong memories while making new friends along the way.
