"As part of our work as a Full-Service Community School, one focus is on how we allow for more voices in our school," said Erin Vasquez, Community Schools Site Facilitator at John Marshall. "So we decided to develop a social media series called In My Shoes."

They collected video submissions from students and shared them through JM's Community Schools Instagram Site.

"Then JM senior Rahkalah Marshall had the great idea of broadening our audience and sharing the videos with our elementary and middle schools," said Vasquez. "The response was overwhelmingly positive."
